How well do you know your @bridgertonnetflix ? Do you remember the steamy scenes set here?

@castle_howard is a magnificent Baroque mansion that stands in for Clyvedon Castle, the Duke of Hastings’ home in Bridgerton season 1.

In the season, Simon (the Duke) leads Daphne outdoors to get caught in the rain. They end up getting steamy up at Castle Howard’s Temple of the Four Winds, which looks like, but is thankfully not, the Howard family mausoleum.

The Temple of the Four Winds was designed in the early 18th century, it was used by the family as an oasis on the grounds to read and enjoy refreshments. These days it’s a place for Mamas to imagine life as the Duchess and for small children to run up and jump off 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

We have a summertime tradition where we sit at the castle walls in Knaresborough watching the world go by whilst indulging in take-out fish and chips from @drakes_fisheries_knaresborough.

This little tradition is often improved with the addition of a teatime tipple and I can confirm these mini @lagioiosa_uk bottles are the perfect accompaniment to an alfresco chippy tea in the late evening sunshine 🥂

After 17 years of rooting around in storage boxes, back of wardrobes, under stairs cupboards and shoe caddies for elusive pairs of wellies in the ‘hour of need’ (see a school morning when it’s snowed, a ‘wholesome’ family walk in the mud, a school field trip, a camping expedition where it ‘might’ rain) I finally have an easy-to-access, always available, stylish looking, fit for purpose place to KEEP THE WELLIES - life goal reached 😂🙌

This whole unit was designed around the need to easily access five pairs of wellies 😂 I kid you not and the mission was most definitely accomplished 🙌

🤍 If you know me it’ll come as no surprise that I LOVE a tidy cupboard 🫣 So one of the best parts of completing the boot room cupboards was getting to put everything in it 😂🙈
