Looking to treat your Mama, or drop some hints of where you’d like to drink or dine this Mother’s Day in Harrogate? Here are a few of my favourite finds to celebrate next weekend.
The Ivy, Harrogate
Begin the day with The Ivy’s Weekend Breakfast Menu and enjoy a selection of mini pastries complemented with seasonal preserves and choose from decadent options such as Eggs Benedict with Hand-pulled Ham or Buttermilk Pancakes for your main course, accompanied by a refreshing smoothie. Available on 9 – 10 March, for £19.50 per person.
They also have a beautifully crafted All-Day Menu for those looking treat mum and celebrate all week long. Featuring a host of Ivy favourites, enjoy two courses £27.50 or three for £32.50 between 6 – 12 March, from 11:30am.
Wild Plum Harrogate
Wild Plum are proud to say that all their food is made in-house and they source their ingredients from some amazing local suppliers to offer exceptional quality and choice. Their seasonal menu is changed weekly.
The great news is you don’t need to book to dine, so if you head down early on Saturday morning you can get ahead by treating your Mama. They’re closed on Sunday.
If brunch or lunch sound a bit on the pricier side, you’re equally welcomed having a coffee and a cake!
Grantley Hall
Their Afternoon Tea is created using the finest Yorkshire produce. Decadent delights are complemented perfectly by the sophisticated ambience and rich surroundings of the Main Hall. Opening Times Monday to Sunday from 12:00 (last table booked at 15:15).
Bacchus Wine Bar
I think Bacchus is one of the best place for grown-up cocktails in Harrogate. Whilst this isn’t for the whole family; a Mama, a margarita and a Saturday evening out would make for the perfect present! When you visit Bacchus you will be seated in a stylish intimate setting, taste wine from specially chosen wine glasses and receive a warm welcome from their team.
Treating your Mama to a fancy cocktail in peace, is an affordable luxury gift of a treat!
Bettys
I don’t think you can mention Mother’s Day in Harrogate without mentioning Bettys!
The best thing about Bettys on Mother’s Day is you don’t have to book (unless you’re uber-organised and have chosen their bookable afternoon tea). So simply arrive early (to avoid the queues) at Bettys Harlow Carr or Harrogate and enjoy! They change their menus with the seasons, making the most of the freshest produce and wherever possible sourcing from farmers right here on our doorstep in Yorkshire.
And it doesn’t have to be expensive. A pot of tea and a Fat Rascal always makes the perfect treat!
This is not a sponsored post, I wasn’t paid for any content in this post, and these opinions are all my own. I have previously worked with Grantley Hall, The Ivy Harrogate and Bettys on a gifted basis.
