Last week I was invited by Jet2 to a gorgeous Après Ski themed event at Friends of Ham in Leeds (which I can heartily recommend).
It was to showcase Jet2.com’s Ski Flights and Jet2holidays Christmas Market destinations. We drank delightful Alpine wines, ate delicious cheeses and created our own festive wreaths as part of the fun! More on that to come…

Something Sparkling: Tour des Gendres PétNat – Bergerac, France
Naturally sparkling, this PétNat makes for a light and refreshing start to your evening. It’s made using the traditional method to create a naturally bubbly wine. It’s dangerously easy to drink, and perfect for setting the mood for a laid-back evening!
Bold and Beautiful: Tre Monti Albana Orange – Emilia-Romagna, Italy
This orange wine from Italy has soft tannins and flavors of honeysuckle, stone fruits, and tropical aromas. It’s a unique wine with enough body to stand up to bold flavors, but it remains refreshing and elegant.
A Sweet Finale: Clos Lapeyre Jurançon Moelleux – Pyrenees, France
A final, indulgent pour, this sweet white wine is herbal with delicate honeyed sweetness, and it makes for a perfect end to your evening. It’s like liquid gold and adds that finishing touch of luxury.

Wreath Magic
We were also treated to a wreath making masterclass by Basement Blooms, there was all the foliage and a chance to win two flights to a Jet2 Ski destination…
My wreath skills (aided considerably by the wine) were working overtime as no one was more surprised than me when I won the tickets! All I have left to do is decide where to go! All suggestions welcome please 😊🙏 At the moment we’re thinking Geneva or Turin. Where would you go?
