Great Water Park rides for Kids at Aquopolis, Spain

This summer we were lucky enough to holiday in Spain, Eurocamping at a couple of gorgeous campsites along the coast north and south of Barcelona! We’re definitely heading back – whilst we were away we visited PortAventurer World and Aquopolis. Both great attractions for the Smalls to enjoy!

You can read all about PortAventurer World over on my Ten Great Things to do at PortAventurer for Five Year Olds blog post! This one’s all about Aquopolis!

Aquopolis Water Park – Spain

This is the first year that the Big Girls, age 11, have been old enough to properly enjoy a waterpark on holiday! Aquapolis was a great introduction for them. There were swimming and splash pools a plenty for the Small Boy and a series of rides just right for the Big Girls too.

Aquopolis is a gorgeous water park, something for all the family. The chill out areas were perfect, could have stayed here and read a book in luxury – had the slides not been calling!

We gave the thrill rides a swerve, but I was quite tempted, maybe next time! They looked loads of fun!

The kids splash areas were enjoyed immensely, the Small Boy whiled away many an hour, pottering on and off the slides and building his water confidence.

The medium sized water slides were a hit with the Big Girls. We all loved the multi-lane slide, where we could race down together!

The tandem Volcano ride was a firm favourite with the Big Girls, they were on and off it like yoyos!

The wave pool was loads of fun, and the Small Boy LOVED the dolphin show!

I’d really recommend getting fast pass tickets, so you can tag team if you have a small Small with you to save on the queuing time!

All in all a great day out for all the family – we’d be back there in a shot and are busy dreaming of blue skies and splash pools! You can book tickets online to Aquopolis and save yourself money by booking before you go!
