BBC Radio 2 Live is set to be held in Leeds for the fist time!

So if you’re fed up of seeing all the festival goers posts and fancy a piece of the action a little closer to home yourself, then this is what you’ve been waiting for!

It’s a chance to see over 20 AMAZING artists all in one place over one weekend! I’m beyond excited to be going to the event and will be reporting back all the shenanigans.

The great news is there are still some tickets available, but they are about to announce two more Big Name acts for both days, so get them while you can. Here are all the deets…

When and Where is it Taking Place?

The two day festival will take place in Temple Newsam Park from September 17 to 18 with more than 20 artists performing across two separate stages.

How Much are Tickets and Where do I Book?

Tickets are £52 (+ £4.50 booking fee) per person and you can buy them via the BBC Radio 2 website the gates will open at 11.00am both days.

Jeff Smith, BBC Radio 2’s head of music, said: “We’re so pleased to be announcing the stellar artist line up for Radio 2 Live, as our annual event spreads its wings for the first time across the UK.”

There will also be a Radio 2 DJ tent where the presenters will be playing alongside special guests – with music encompassing legendary tracks from Motown in the 60s to the dance classics of today.

The event will be broadcast live on Radio 2 – which has a weekly audience of 14.6m and a highlights show from the festival main stage will broadcast on 24 September on BBC Two.

Will there be Food and Drink at the Event?

There will be a wide range of food traders in operation at this event selling both hot and cold food and sweet and savoury snacks.
