Bettys and Harrogate go hand in hand. To have the institution that is Bettys closed for months on end was unimaginable at the start of this year, but then there was a lot about 2020 we never saw coming!
How excited do I look here? Ha!So to say that I was delighted to hear that the shop was reopening, post lockdown was an understatement!
The brilliant Olivia Brabbs Photography took these press photos so the Bettys team could get set for the big reopening, and they asked me to bob along and get involved. There may have been a brief foray into hand modelling experienced too…!
Let’s face it – no one minds queuing when there’s a Fat Rascal waiting for you at the end of it!

Betty’s shop reopening as follows:
Monday 22nd June: Harrogate and Northallerton reopens from Monday 22 June.
Monday 29th June Ilkely, Harlow Carr (inc. Tea House) and York (St Helen’s Sqaure)
Monday 6 July: York Stonegate
The cafes remain closed for now.
